The Interreg Aurora funded project Lohkanlihkku is participating in the workshop Digital Challenges for Small Languages at the Maastricht University in the Netherlands 22.-23.10.2025. The workshop gives a platform to researchers and students involved in small, minoritized, or low-resource languages and how they access the digital domain.
Lohkanlihkku project will be presented by the University of Lapland team, Project Manager Kristiina Jomppanen with the title “Lohkanlihkku – Enhancing Sámi Literacy Through Digital Learning”. Professor Keskitalo will also give a talk on the digitalization of Sámi education. The Lohkanlihkku project team is very excited for this opportunity!
