Partner search: Biodiversity Created by Art and Cross-Sectoral collaboration

At the City of Lapua’s Cultural and Green Services, we have been working to promote biodiversity and sustainable development. In cultural services we have successfully used artistic expertise to reduce food waste in school canteens and in green services created urban meadows to enhance biodiversity and used various participatory methods to encourage residents to take part in invasive species control.

Now we want to combine our expertise and work cross-sectorally to enhance biodiversity by art and culture. Our next project focuses on creating urban meadows and other natural surroundings using art to foster interaction between nature and local residents. The goal is to create more sustainable environment where people and nature work together and contribute to the well-being of both.

We are currently seeking partners for this project. We have strong experience in project management, e.g. projects funded by the ERDF. We are prepared to act as project administrators.

Please contact us if you are interested in joining our project!

We aim to apply funding in the Interreg Aurora call in March 2026.
