On 6 December, Finland celebrates its Independence Day – a day filled with pride, history, and a strong vision for the future. At Interreg Aurora, we join in marking this special occasion with gratitude and joy, recognising Finland as a vital part of our programme area.
For more than a century, Finland has built a society known for innovation, equality, and resilience. Its long tradition of cross-border cooperation is clearly reflected in the many projects carried out within Interreg Aurora. Here, partners from Finland, Sweden and Norway come together to develop new solutions, strengthen regional competitiveness, and create sustainable opportunities for the future.
Our cross-border collaborations highlight the strength of Nordic cooperation – where knowledge is shared openly, innovation grows across borders, and we achieve more together than any of us could alone. Finland contributes strong expertise, dedicated project partners, and a deep understanding of the region’s opportunities and challenges.
