Why identity matters – Driving change in cultural organization

Why Identity Matters – Driving Change in Cultural Organizations, online lecture 26 November 2025

What defines who you are as a cultural organization and how does that shape where you are going? Every meaningful change starts with understanding who you are. Real transformation begins with identity – join us to explore why it matters.

Welcome to an open lecture: Why Identity Matters – Driving Change in Cultural Organizations on Wednesday, November 26, 9.00–10.00 (CET), 10.00–11.00 (EET)

How can cultural organizations evolve toward greater inclusivity and participation – while staying true to their identity?

This inspiring lecture offers fresh perspectives on how identity can serve as a foundation for meaningful change in cultural institutions. It explores how inclusivity and participation can be integrated into strategy, not just audience engagement, and how collaboration with the tourism sector can enhance accessibility without compromising authenticity. The whole is examined particularly from the perspective of design thinking.

The lecture is open to anyone interested in cultural development, especially professionals and entrepreneurs working in the cultural and tourism sectors. The lecture will be delivered by a design agency Arctic Factory.
