After three years of restoration work, searching for models to increase engagement and bringing more knowledge about invasive alien species to the garden sector, the Interreg Aurora funded project INSPIRE have now reached the final destination.

The seminar consists of a field day and an indoor seminar day.
Field trip
Tuesday the 22nd of September 2026, 10.00 – 16.00 (CET)
Visit to some restoration sites and discussion about different methods and outcomes. Also a visit to a couple of engagement areas and discussion about the challenges of engaging the public and private landowners.
Dinner (at own expence) at 18.00 (CET)
Seminar day – virtual participation is possible
Wednesday the 23rd of September 2026, 10.00 – 16.00 (CET)
The seminar will be held in the beautiful old school from 1897, Elite Hotel Mimer. Learn more about the project results such as the restoration strategy, the municipality guide and the alternative species list, amongst other things.
Cost: Participation is free of charge, coffee and lunch are included.
