SilverARC – Skills and Innovation for Lifelong Vitality and Entrepreneurship in the Arctic

The Interreg Aurora funded project SilverARC builds an Arctic-wide framework that helps older adults extend their careers, explore late-career entrepreneurship, and share expertise across generations. The primary target group is people aged 55+ in Arctic regions who have significant professional experience but face barriers to remaining active in the workforce.

The project delivers four key solutions:

  1. an Arctic Community of Silver Experts
  2. a late-career planning model with entrepreneurship pathways
  3. an AI-powered guidance platform, and
  4. an intergenerational mentorship model with digital matchmaking.

Together, these solutions create flexible cross-border learning opportunities, improve access to education for underrepresented groups, and strengthen lifelong learning across Arctic labor markets.

Project results will be published on this website as well as on the website of the lead partner (Link coming soon).
