The first of the Roots and Future webinars focused on the Kven language. The recording of its contents gives us great information about the basics of the Kven language, its background, and its current status.
The recording is part of a broader series of webinars organized by the Roots and Future – Empowering Minority Language Education and Communities project. It was organized by Alta kvenske språksenter and hosted by Halti kvenkultursenter, in collaboration with project partners Oulu University of Applied Sciences and Sverigefinska folkhögskolan. The Roots and Future project is co-funded by Interreg Aurora Program and the Regional Council of Lapland.
