Creating knowledge of the life conditions of children and young people

Young in the Northernmost North

At present there is no collective overview of the life conditions of children and young people in the Interreg Aurora Programme area. A need exists for developing a network of youth researchers with an interest in this topic. The aim of this small-scale project is to create a project plan for a large-scale Aurora project. The project plan concerns the life conditions of children and young people in the northern Nordic region with the themes of health and well-being, participation, migration as well as other plans for the future and experiences of belonging to minority groups, like Sami or Finland-Swedes. Already existing as well as new data are used, collected within the large-scale project. The intention is to explore childrens and young peoples life conditions, both their challenges and enjoyments, in the northern Nordic region.
