The aim of the Interreg Aurora funded small-scale project Sami Handicraft Academy is to:
* establishing networks
* defining roles
* remove obstacles against cross-border cooperation with Sami handicraft
* support the transferal of knowledge from one generation to the next, in order to secure continued production and supply of Sami handicraft, marketing, sales
* protection of Sami handicraft as a cultural heritage and intellectual property.
