Partner search: Peace Circle® is an international initiative, based on over 30 years of experience in peace education and sustainability, that sees peace not only as the absence of conflict but as living in balance – with oneself, with others, and with nature.
Through the symbol of the circle – Head, Heart, and Hands in harmony – it connects peace, sustainability, and community. Already spread to schools and communities worldwide, Peace Circles take shape as community parks, schoolyards, and cultural events, as well as educational practices that engage youth and strengthen participation. Alongside these local activities, Peace Circle® includes a digital dimension: a global network and learning environment that links communities and schools across borders, enabling shared values, dialogue, and co-creation.
Within the Aurora programme, Peace Circle® could serve as a cross-border platform linking Finland, Sweden, and Norway – with respect for indigenous wisdom and the Saami Component – around youth engagement, sustainable living, and peaceful coexistence.
We are looking for Nordic partners (municipalities, schools, universities, NGOs, cultural actors) to co-develop Peace Circle® projects that create visible, meaningful, and lasting impact in the Arctic region.
