The very first call for project proposals of the Interreg Aurora Programme 2021-2027 will be open from 21 June until 23 August 2022. All Priorities and Specific Objectives will be open for project applications.
The Steering Committees for sub-area Aurora and sub-area Sápmi will meet in the beginning of November 2022 to give their opinion on the project proposals.
The Programme Document defines the structure and functions of the Interreg Aurora Programme 2021-2027. The Programme document is approved by the ministries in Sweden, Finland and Norway and is now submitted to the European Commission for the final approval. The Interreg Aurora Programme encourages all stakeholders to share their project ideas with the Joint Secretariat to receive feedback based on a project idea template. You find the Programme Document and the template for project idea here. If you plan to apply in the first call for project proposals and want feed-back, you must send in the project idea form at latest the 31 May. So that the Interreg Aurora Joint Secretariat can give feed-back to you before the summer holidays.
Seminars to support applicants in creating project proposals will be organised during spring 2022. The aim is to introduce the joint application in the electronic system, Min Ansökan.
We also welcome you to the online Interreg Aurora Kickoff event on the 24 March and we look forward to seeing you in person at our event the 7-8 June in Skellefteå.
Please note, that the Interreg Aurora Programme has not yet been approved by the European Commission which means that the content of the Programme document and the terms of references of the first call may change.
