Interreg Aurora

Are you aware of the new simplification method when applying for funds from Interreg Aurora?

Did you know that you can use the Unit cost method when you plan the staff budget in your application for a regular project in the next upcoming call that closes on the 7th of October 2026?

If you are planning to apply for a Regular project in the 9th call, you can receive many benefits from using the unit cost method! There is one fixed unit cost per hour per country – this cost is used regardless of the role of the staff. You only need to plan the time needed for each role and calculate the total cost using the unit cost for the country in question. There is no need to specify the real salaries or the social fees. And when it is time to apply for payments it is so simple to report the staff costs! You only need one document per person – the report of hours and employment confirmation document. You will not need any task assignments, payslips, summary of staff costs and you will not need to verify any staff costs in the ledger nor explain the different percentages of the social fees.

And another thing, if you use the unit cost method together with the 40%-method you will not need to submit any ledger at all!
