Invitation Re-Archtive North 4.10.2024

Do you like old buildings?

The Interreg Aurora funded project Re-Archtive North is excited to announce the launch of the project aimed at the sustainable reuse of historic and existing buildings in Northern Sweden and Finland.

📅 Date: 4 October
🕘 Time: 9:00 – 12:00 (Finnish Time)
📍 Location: On-site in Jakobstad/Pietarsaari and Online

During the project you can discover turn challenges into opportunities and make our small towns more attractive and vibrant. Whether you’re a public or private actor, join us to explore innovative tools, business models, and an online platform designed to repurpose unused buildings for tourism, housing, business, and social initiatives. At the kick-off in Jakobstad/Pietarsaari you’ll learn why renovating old buildings is a more climate-friendly alternative to building new buildings, become inspired by existing cases from both Finland and Sweden, and begin to think differently about your buildings!

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to contribute to sustainable growth and preservation in our region.

The project is financed by the Interreg Aurora program, Lapin Liitto and Region Norrbotten. The project partners are LuleÄ University of Technology (lead partner), Centria University of Applied Sciences, Lapland University of Applied Sciences and Moskosel Creative Park.
